B.A. International Hospitality Administration

An International Hospitality professional degree programme affiliated to Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) New Delhi and American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AH&LEI), USA. The three year BA IHA degree programme is in the non-semester pattern consisting of five months Industrial Exposure Training scheduled during the second year.

Eligibility & Admission Procedure

A pass in 10+2 examination from a recognized Board or University or its equivalent qualification with English as one of the compulsory subject, all qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed format given in the prospectus of IGNOU

How To Apply

Prospectus and application forms of BA IHA by post can be obtained from the Programme centre at a cost of Rs.350/-, by demand draft or M.O. favouring Malabar Hotel Management and Catering Promotion Trust, payable at Calicut (Kozhikode). The VCD, fee structure, and the prospectus of Oriental Institute of Hotel Management can be obtained at total cost of Rs.600, all inclusive.

Hostel fees

Hostel facilities are available for boys and girls separately, providing residential accommodation to the students in the campus. The Hostels are controlled by separate Wardens under a Chief Warden.

HOSTEL CHARGES PER MONTH : 3,750/-    (Boarding - 1,875/- Lodging - 1,875/-)

Payable on or before 1st of each month
Subject to marginal revision from the year 2012-13

• Fee once remitted will not be refunded except Caution Deposit.
• Tuition fee Payments to be made by Cash or by Demand Draft, favouring "Malabar Hotel Management & Catering Promotion Trust", payable at Calicut (Kozhikode).
• The Hostel fee to be paid by Cash / or by Demand Draft favouring "Oriental School of Hotel Management" payable at, Calicut.
• Pay Rs. 10000 by Cash for uniform and practical kit during the admission.
• The authorization letter for bank loan will be issued after paying the 1st semester tuition fee.
